Lee Ellen Markley

Lee Ellen is our tireless secretary who has done a fantastic job revamping many of our processes, and amazes the Board on a monthly basis with her ability to catch all discussion points in her meeting minutes. She’s just as impressive on the water, too!

Do you prefer to sweep, scull, or either?
Either! I’m definitely more comfortable sweeping, but think I *might* actually like sculling more.

What made you interested in rowing?
All my friends were doing it in middle school and I wasn’t doing a spring sport. Tried it out and loved it.

What is one of the things you enjoy about HRRC?
The people! I’ve made some great friends since joining.
